Student Views: Shop Made in Maryland Opens in City Hall Plaza

The ‘Shop Made in Maryland’ location in College Park City Hall Plaza is also a coffee bar with grab + go foods – salads, soups, sandwiches and snack items like dips and charcuterie boxes. The new location will also have Nitro Cold Brew, Kombucha, Beer and Cider on tap and a curated wine menu.

My friends and I are always looking for a cute spot to catch up – I’m happy to hear this location is not only unique to College Park but highlights Maryland Creators in such an exciting way. I look forward to bringing Maryland-Made gifts/goodies home to friends and family in Massachusetts. College Park City Hall Plaza features retailers both students and residents alike can enjoy from Shop Made in Maryland to Smoothie King.

I’m super excited to explore College Park’s newest retailer, Shop Made in Maryland, which opened on Friday, December 8th in City Hall Plaza. This flagship store is the first of its kind in Maryland, and will sell apothecaries, apparel, art, furniture, jewelry, home décor, and stationery made by creators throughout the state of Maryland. Brought by the creators behind ‘Shop Made In’, a retail initiative with a mission to grow makers and are home to over 10,000 products made in D.C., Virginia, and Maryland.
