Looking Ahead: Here’s a Sneak Peek at 2024

Homeownership Program Relaunch: Following many years of success, we will be relaunching an updated homeownership program in January. As a model homeownership program, we are eager to increase participation and welcome new neighbors to College Park. 

Campus Drive and Riverwalk: The Partnership has been awarded state bond funding to support bicycle and pedestrian improvements in the city. In 2024, we will work with our partners to design, engineer and construct the Campus Drive bike path and Riverwalk. 

Community Preservation Trust: Following an award-winning launch year, we will continue our efforts to establish a national model community land trust in College Park. In 2024, we will build on this year’s momentum to increase homeownership rates and provide ownership opportunities to residents. 

ITGA 2024: We are excited to partner with the City and University as hosts of the 2024 International Town-Gown Association National Conference on June 4-7, 2024. We are working closely with our partners to secure sponsorships and lead logistics planning for this event. We can’t wait to showcase all of the great work underway in College Park!  

Strategic Partnerships and Collaboration: Partnership staff see the immeasurable amount of dedication committed by our institutional partners to build on our current momentum. We intend to build on this momentum in 2024; with new and enhanced strategic partnerships, we’ll show new regional and national audiences what a great place College Park is to live, work, learn and visit.
