Route One Reimagined: Ribbon cutting Ceremony
Join Maryland Department of Transportation, The University of Maryland, and the City of College Park on Saturday, November 9, 2024 to celebrate the completion of Phase 1 of the US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) College Park Improvement Project! The 1.5-mile project enhances safety and traffic flow for all road users, including pedestrians and bicyclists, while supporting revitalization efforts along the busy US 1 corridor.

Visitor parking on weekends is available in Lot L off of Regents Drive. Parking is also available behind The Hotel at the University of Maryland. The Hotel’s management will not enforce payment to park during the day of this event.
