Where: Along the Trolley Trail (through College Park, Riverdale Park, and Hyattsville, including sites at College Park’s Old Parish House, Riverdale Park Station, Riverdale Park Town Center, and Hyattsville Justice Center lawn)
What: Trolley Trail Day (Click here for itinerary, maps, and more)
Fun Run, Bicycle Rides, Local Music, Kid Activities, Scavenger Hunt, Food and Drink, and more!
This 3.5-mile long trail is a community asset. This first ever “Trolley Trail Day” will boost the trail’s profile, make more people aware of the many businesses accessible from the trail, and bring people together through our communities along the Trolley Trail.
Over 35 businesses will participate in Trolley Trail Day this year. By linking the downtowns and commercial areas of three Baltimore Avenue Corridor communities, the Trolley Trail serves as a convenient connection between our communities. It also connects into the larger region’s trail network, linking us with the District of Columbia and other jurisdictions. Through events like Trolley Trail Day, we can become a greater destination for local residents and out-of-town cyclists alike to explore our restaurants, breweries, and shops.
