Statement on Wojahn Removal
On Thursday March 2, 2023 the City Council of the City of College Park held a virtual emergency meeting and unanimously voted to remove former Mayor Patrick Wojahn from any and all boards, committees and positions to which he was appointed by the City Council. Former Mayor Wojahn was appointed by the City to the College Park City-University Partnership’s Board of Directors. The City Council’s vote effectively ends his participation on the Partnership’s Board. This action creates a Board vacancy that, as per the Partnership’s bylaws, will be filled by appointment of the Mayor and City Council of the City of College Park.
