Designed as a four-week pilot program, each week the program will give away gift cards from five independently owned, local College Park restaurants. These gift cards will be raffled off through a social media contest. Ten $25 gift cards will be distributed each week of the program.

College Park City-University Partnership and Terrapin Development Company Announce Gift Card Giveaway Program to Support Local Restaurants
COLLEGE PARK, MD. (MAY 22, 2020) The College Park City-University Partnership (the Partnership) and the Terrapin Development Company (TDC) announce the launch of the College Park Gift Card Giveaway program. Designed as a four-week pilot program, each week the program will give away gift cards from five independently owned, local College Park restaurants. These gift cards will be raffled off through a social media contest. Ten $25 gift cards will be distributed each week of the program.
Members of the community can enter the raffle through the Partnership’s website, which will be posted on the Partnership’s Facebook page. To enter, a community member must complete a brief Google Form, then answer the “question of the week,” focused on highlighting their favorite local establishments in the College Park community. The raffle is open to anyone, not just City of College Park residents. The program will launch on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
Entries will begin being accepted on Wednesday afternoons at 4:00 p.m., and close on Thursdays at 12:00 p.m. Winners will be selected randomly from the pool of entrants and contacted with details of how to receive their gift card. Gift cards must be used within 10 days so that College Park’s local businesses are being supported during this critical time. Winners will also be announced on social media each week. The pool of entrants resets for each week’s raffle, so members of the community are encouraged to participate and enter each week. By entering the raffle, contestants agree that their entries may be shared on social media. Contestants must be over age 18, or have parent or guardian consent to enter. Employees and immediate family of Partnership and TDC employees are not eligible.
