At only a year old, Posh Cycling and Fitness has already received praise among College Park residents, earning it the title of College Park’s 2019 Business of the Year. Since #CollegeParkScene first featured the business here in June, Posh has expanded its selection of classes, hosted many events, and continued to build up its surrounding community.

To start, the studio has added two new classes, including Yin Yoga on Sundays, and STRONG by Zumba®, a workout class that “combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio, and plyometric training moves synced to original music” to help customers burn calories while toning their arms and legs.

Posh has also continued to host fun events and partner with nonprofits to help strengthen the community. Through its back-to-school drive with Building Families for Children and a fundraising ride with Extra-Ordinary Birthdays, the business has also worked hard to ensure that children in Maryland are happy and can thrive—beyond dance and fitness.

Posh is proud to introduce two more classes that will begin in January: Revamp® will consist of a HIIT class that uses high-intensity full-body workouts to burn calories quickly, and Pilates Barre will improve strength and flexibility by combining elements of ballet and yoga. Until then, the studio will continue its usual classes and celebrate the holiday season with a toy drive throughout the month of December, and an Adult Game Night. The game night, which has a dress code of ugly holiday sweaters, will take place on Friday, December 13th from 7:30-11:30pm, and will feature a live DJ, games, and food for sale.

In addition to these events, the studio also holds glow-in-the-dark cycling rides every month, which are followed by mocktails and snacks. This event adds additional fun to the typical cycling classes, and it usually takes place on Friday evenings at 6:30pm. With free parking right in front of the studio and the Edgewood Rd + Rhode Island Ave bus stop right across the street, Posh is easy for students and locals to get to from downtown College Park.
