For over four years, Center Point Healing has treated a wide range of mental and physical health conditions through the use of acupuncture, which promotes natural healing by inserting extremely thin needles into certain areas of the body known as ‘acupoints.’ This ancient form of medicine has been used to treat injuries, headaches, infertility, insomnia, depression, digestion problems, allergies, and many other conditions.
Center Point’s owner, Elizabeth Fellows, encourages individuals of all ages who are seeking physical and mental help to consider acupuncture as a solution. She has seen improvement in almost all one-thousand of the patients that she has treated, while they have not had to face any negative side effects. Prospective clients need not worry about the process being painful, as patients usually find the sessions quite relaxing.
The clinic accepts most forms of health insurance, and most cases do not require a referral from a doctor. For individuals who are unable to receive insurance coverage, Center Point provides a service of community acupuncture, where individuals can drop in on Wednesdays between 2:00pm and 6:00pm to receive acupuncture treatment in a communal setting at a discounted rate. The clinic also provides other wellness services such as nutrition counseling, psychotherapy, and massage therapy in order to promote overall well-being.
The office is located in suite 119 at 7309 Baltimore Avenue, a location with free and accessible parking right in front. It is open Tuesday through Sunday with varying hours, and clients can book appointments online or by calling the reception desk at (301) 277-9020.
